We have all done research papers for how long now? I think doing research for a paper can be quite a difficult task in finding information that would fit correctly with the topic and to also make sense with the subject. I know when I had to do term papers in high school, we went through this whole process and went throught several steps in order to finish our papers. I remember having to search for several sources for my paper, and made sure not to plagarize. We had to make out note cards of what we were going to put in our papers from each source, and then we had to go incorporate it into the paper. It was very tedious and kind of stressing, because term papers were a big part of our english grade.
I think that we give credit to other authors in our papers because we want all the information possible to be able to show as much credible information to the reader, and not just ones opinion, but actual facts to back it up. It is important to know about the subject one is writing about, and that we reference to others work, and the research that they had done. I think it is important to do research and find other information because you always learn new things about what ever subject it is you are exploring.

In my hometown, we don’t need to write the author’s name and all information about where is the source come and so on. And I found out the students are treat them in an important situation. You are right; we need to show our responsible to the author, but in my hometown I never done that. It’s a good idea to write all the information that shows I’m not cheating about anything.
You are right, most of the time; it takes me a lot of time to find the correct and useful information. It’s a little hard for me at the beginning as we never did that in high school life. What we write should make sense to the readers as you said, we need to write something real meaningful. It’s important to our writing.
